Nearly two miles of the eastbound Katy Freeway, from the West Loop to Washington/Westcott, will be shut down Saturday.

Some lanes in the opposite direction and some ramps also will be closed, project spokeswoman Tanya McWashington said. The eastbound freeway will be closed in the segment from 4 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and the two inside westbound lanes will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon, McWashington said.

Related closings scheduled from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.:

•Ramps from the north- and southbound loop to the eastbound freeway.
•The eastbound entry ramp to the freeway from Silber.
•The entrance from Woodway to the eastbound freeway via the northbound loop.
