Don't be intimidated by these smaller boats! They're relatively stable in the water and PFD's are required for all paddlers, as well as the safety boat is always nearby. These 400 meter runs are intended to allow each person to record their individual times at the beginning of the DB season and compare these to times later in the year to track personal development. C'mon out and give it a try if you haven't done it before! However, we will NOT do it if we don't have enough people to provide support on shore and in the safety boat!!!
