Registration for the GWN Florida camp is now open. They have three sessions. Session one is April 7-12. Session 2 is 14-19. Session 3 is a new type session starting April 29 and finishes by competing in the Miami DB races on May 3rd (however, this conflicts with our May Festival). I have signed up for session 1 for the High Performance module along with a coaching module. A better trained and educated paddler is an asset to the team. Anyone else with extra cash and a week to spare to improve your sport?

I'm interested in doing the first session and the additional one for coaching. I imagine it's a good idea to register and pay now if we're subject to the exchange risk with the Canadian Dollar!

Yes, register now. They can take 160 paddlers per session and it normally fills by the end of the year. I think the exchange rate is something like 6% now as my bill came through slightly higher. They have suggested I try coaching level 2 since I took the coaching module in 2006. If you take level 1 then we can share notes each day to insure all of the gaps are filled. I am taking the High Performance package because I want the OC2 and land training/exercise experience. Love to have you in camp. Watch out HH!
