Some of you may know Cajun Invasion competed in the marathon race on Nov. 11th. It was amazing! I did the entire 26.2 miles getting out of the boat once to find some woods. Most team members swapped out here and there but there were a core group of us that stayed the entire time.
We teamed up with a survivor team from Charleston, S.C. to fill the boat. But next year we would love you have any of you join us! It is certainly a stamina builder.....and we had fun. We finished in 5 hours 55 minutes and 14 seconds. There was a 20mph headwind.
Please consider joining us.
Also, we will be hosting a regatta in the Spring. We haven't the date set yet but will know something soon. We are still paddling on Saturdays from 9-11 if anyone is in town and wants to paddle up. We do land practice at Lourdes. I would love to attend a land practice of yours sometime. I may be in Houston in the next month and will contact someone then for info.

Congratulations for paddling for 26.2 miles! Wow, that is a loooong workout!
We had one survivor from Charleston, SC who practiced with us once or twice down here in Houston. His name is Mark. Do you know him? You are most welcome to join us for land practice (off season) when you get here in Houston.
Looking forward for your visit!
Victorina
