This is an important message about the Water Practice Sessions.

I want to let you all know, particularlt the newbies, that we normally post Cancellations on the website, either by forum or on the main page, if the weather is not suitable for paddling. Meaning, if there's rain and lightning OR there is a Hurricane or Tornado Watch then most likely we will cancel. Now, if it's just cold, we'll probably still brave it and if it's rain then we'll determine if it's heavy or light to medium rain through the forecasts. We will post the CANCELLATION approximately one hour prior to the arrival time (normally 8:00AM!!!) on this website so please check before you make that drive.

Also, we will try to contact via phone through texting or by calling you. This is just so we make sure that you receive the message. However, do NOT rely on US calling you, utilize the website.

Now, if we recruit and or refer someone, please make sure they know this or else I would need to cut and paste this every month for our new paddlers. You wouldn't want me to do that, would you?

Tomorrow's Safety Drill is an "iffy" at the moment. If the weather continues like how it is today, we most definitely will go on wth it. If it's like the weatehrmen predict, then we'll have to cancel BUT we do plan on proceeding with CPR practices. We'll need volunteers to fall victim and have our CPR certified individuals pratice to keep their training "fresh" . Hau will explain the procedures.
