There will be a 3-hour paddling clinic on Sunday, Aug 26th from 7-10am.  The purpose of the clinic is to begin introducing the D-stroke. 

Houston Heat has been using a Canadian-style stroke.  We will no longer be using this stroke, and will start transitioning towards a more efficient "D-Stroke."   This stroke style is used by the top US team (Philly) and other premiere teams.   We will be using this stroke style at the October Regatta, so if you are planning to try out for the October Regatta, you will need to learn this stroke.
