Hello everyone! The Coaches have reviewed the votes from the Year End Social, and here is the list of out-of-town races for the 2008 Houston Heat dragon boat season:

April - Austin Dragon Boat Festival (TENTATIVE)

July 25 - 27: U.S Dragon Boat Nationals at Long Beach, CA

Late September - San Francisco Dragon Boat Festival , San Francisco, CA

The decision regarding events was based on many factors, including number of votes from members, quality of teams/competition at the event, etc. The Coaches made sure to have a 2-month gap between out-of-town events to allow enough time for training, and to avoid burnout.
