I've been involved with the sport of Dragon Boating for more than five years.  I've raced in five Texas Dragon Boat May Festivals, two Texas Dragon Boat October Regattas, two YMCA Woodlands events and one Miami Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival.  I've also served as a steersman and coach at Oklahoma City's first ever Dragon Boat Festival in June 2006.

Dragon Boat is a sport that anyone can enjoy.  It brings a festive and friendly spirit into a competitively natured event where team work is essential.  I like seeing old and new friends working together to achieve one goal - to win!

I'm also active in several athletic sports such as football, cycling, bowling, ping pong, basketball, etc.  I discipline myself in Dragon Boating to learn and to teach others what I know. 

I've dreamed of having a year round Dragon Boat team in Houston for the past couple of years.  Houston Heat is solidifying and we're heading to Nationals to show what we've accomplished in the past few months.  I'm so proud!
