Important Reminders for Land Practice
Bring lots of water, sunscreen and a towel (if you don't want to get dirty)
Wear proper clothing and running shoes
If at anytime during practice individuals feel that the exercises are too difficult, experience any pain or have an existing injury, notify the land practice coach for alternate exercise options
Show up on time
Training is done as intervals or sets so we can stay together as a group. No one is left behind regardless of fitness level
The workout routine remains the same for 4 weeks so individuals can get familiar with the exercise and improve
Current Workout Routine (September)
Warm Up
ABS (Perform 2 Rounds)
Side bend crunches (30 sec)
Side plank with leg swing and twist under (10 each side)
Mountain climber (30 sec)
Job to the Hill
Strength Set #1 (Perform 2 Rounds)
One leg squat (10 each leg)
Prisoner squat hops (30 sec)
10 half squats
Prisoner squat hops (30 sec)
Run up the hill
Strength Set #2 (Perform 2 Rounds)
Inclined pushups with knee crunch (10 reps)
Dips (30 sec)
Up-Up-Down-Down (30 sec)
Dynamic pushups (10 reps)
Cardiovascular Set #1 (Perform 2 Rounds)
Hop up the hill
High step up the hill
Sprint up the hill
Backwards up the hill
Cardiovascular Set #2
Low heart rate continues job/walk (5 min)
Medium intensity continues rug/jog (3 min)
Triple (10 prison squats, 10 pushups and sprint)
Cool Down and Stretch
